Ristorante Pizzeria Principe

We took a boat ride to the island of Burano in Northern Italy. After touring the island we're starving for a late lunch and found this restaurant which is highly recommended by the locals. We ordered pasta and pizza. The boys loved the pizza while my wife and I savored on the pasta. See attached pics.

The lady at the front announced us that the waiting for pizza will be about one hour, that is full, no space, just outside. After we decided to remain to eat outside, she said that in 5 minutes a table indoor will be ready. She said if we will order anything else then pizza, it will arrive shortly. So we had some pasta for main course and after to taste the pizza. Everything was delicious and we didnt felt that we wait a lot. The staff was nice.

Great service and great food. The pizza was among the best I have had in Italy and the pasta was good too. Ambience could not be better and such a delight to sit by the canal and watch the world go by.

What a refreshment! One of the best Hugo Spritz I had during my vacation in Italy. Nothing could’ve been better but a couple of glasses in hot and colorful day on Burano. I would have definitely tried the food, but I had to hurry to catch the boat back to Venice! Great service! Fair price! Thank you guys!

Yesterday we had lunch at Ristorante Pizzeria Principe while visiting Burano. We walked past several places, but this one stood out because of the colourful umbrella shaped covers over the outdoor seating. We grabbed a table and looked through the menu. They offer plenty of choices. Here is what we ordered with our personal ratings Margherita Pizza rated 3/5 Fish and Chips rated 2/5 Both dishes tasted below average. The pizza was dominated by the tomato sauce and the fish lacked crispiness and tasted a bit bland. The service, however, was very good and the staff were polite.
